Pittsburgh Wedding | Ethan + Jenn
Ethan and Jenn attended one of my favorite weddings last year, but we did not officially meet in person until their wedding day. Sometimes that makes me anxious, but these two both pulled me in for a hug as soon as I arrived. I love that photography has allowed me to meet incredible people who invite me into their lives on one of their most precious days. By the end of this wedding, I had dried my eyes of happy tears more than once, laughed so many belly laughs, and could not help but smile. Two people celebrating their love with those closest to them is so beautiful, and Ethan and Jenn had the most beautiful day.
Morning Glory Inn is the coziest bed and breakfast tucked away in Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood. Guests meandered both inside and out, and it was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding.
First looks are my favorite. Not only do they free up the schedule of the day, but it is often the only time the bride and groom can just be together, with no one else around. I've also found that it creates an opportunity for genuine emotions, rather than feeling nervous that over one hundred people are staring at you. Ethan's face says it all.
Have you ever seen a more classic and stunning couple?
I have no words to describe how special this ceremony was. Jenn and Ethan were literally surrounded on all sides by their loved ones, and the entire event celebrated their journey. Several people shared stories about their relationship, from the very beginning, and after hearing it all, you could not deny that these two were meant to be together.
Right before they said their vows, guests were asked to close their eyes. For these thirty seconds, Jenn and Ethan could look around at everyone that loved and supported them, look at each other right before they officially become husband and wife, and pause to soak up this beautiful day. It was one of the most touching moments I have witnessed.
Fish Hawk Acres did an incredible job with the food! With delicious appetizers, several food stations, and peach cobbler dessert, no one left hungry.
Ethan and Jenn, it was such a joy to be a part of your wedding. The entire day was simple and elegant, meaningful and fun, relaxed and lovely. Congratulations on a beautiful marriage, and thank you so much for including me!
