A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of watching these two. I'll admit, their barking in the middle of the night was not ideal, but getting knocked down when you come home because they are so darn happy to see you makes it all worth it. Kaiser, the handsome one on the right, belongs to my in-laws. He weighs more than me but is just a giant teddy bear. Breeze, the cutie on the left, is ours. She doesn't live with us now (boo on apartments that won't allow cute puppies), but we can't wait to bring her with us when we get our own place someday.

There is something about dogs that wipes away every stressful event of the day. They don't care if you're perfect, or whether you checked everything off your to-do list. They just pour out their love, sometimes in the form of slobbery kisses, every single day. I think there is much we can learn from these furry friends. Run hard. Always make time for play. And cuddle like it's the last chance you'll get. Life is short. And I think it should be spent with big dogs by your side.

We might have treated them with ice cream...twice. If we spoil our dogs this much, I can only imagine how bad it will get when we have kids. They are just so adorable!
