Rob and Kortney's day was filled with happy tears, raindrops, and gorgeousness. They are both designers, so I knew their details would be flawless. And the designer in me loved the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired decor (like my little heart was doing cartwheels when I saw their centerpieces!). Often times, my couples feel more like good friends by the time we get to their wedding day, and that is especially true with these two. Rob and Kortney's office is right down the street from mine, so Kortney and I have gone on many walks and coffee dates. As special as it was to celebrate their wedding day, I am even more excited to continue hanging out with them as they begin this new chapter together. Yay for pretty weddings. And yay for lovely friendships! To see their architecture inspired engagement session, click here.
Kortney's bouquet was my favorite! The pops of color gave it a fun vibe, and the natural elements made it feel perfectly handpicked. Lauren from the Farmer's Daughter did an incredible job!
The guys wore paisley bow ties...can you think of anything more perfect? Check out the reception for more of these two elements.
Those votives, the flowers, twinkling string lights...I wanted to take all of it home with me. New Hazlett Theater was the perfect industrial space, yet it still felt intimate and cozy.
A bonus when your reception is in a theater...you can take awesome portraits on the catwalk.
The rain clouds cleared just in time for us to sneak outside before the party started. The light was gorgeous, and these photos are my absolute favorites!
Rob and Kortney, no words can sum up how perfect your day was, and what a joy it was for me to be there to celebrate with you. Congratulations!
