Today marks 1,096 days of marriage to my best friend. I cannot believe how quickly these few years have gone by, but I also cannot imagine spending my days with anyone else.
This past year has been one of trials and celebrations. We both accepted our first real jobs, moved to a new city, and bought our first home. But the beginning of the adventure was spent living in two different states. As difficult as that season was, I am so much more grateful for every day we spend together.
I love a little something that Todd wrote in a note to me this morning: "Every time we go to church and small group I can feel our roots grow deeper here." We have been blessed with an incredible community that supports and challenges us in our marriage, and we can both feel God stirring our hearts. He has done so much in our marriage in three short years, I can only imagine what He has in store for us next in our new home.
Todd, words cannot express how much I love you. The lyrics from our first dance perfectly sum up how excited I am about 73 more years with you.
The way that we love, the way that we laugh. It's something worth seeing, so let's make it last. Live out each moment. They go by so fast. Let's make it last. (Brandon Heath)
A huge thank you to Harvest of Memories for our beautiful wedding photos.
