Dan and Cassie chose the perfect weekend for a fall engagement session. The trees did not have much color in Pittsburgh yet, but they were on fire at Indian Lake. These two are getting married at this gorgeous location next spring, so it was the perfect opportunity to get to know them more and talk details about their wedding day.
I had never met Dan and Cassie in person before, but after riding around in golf carts together and seeing their family's lake house, I felt like we were old friends. Cassie's smile is contagious, and I loved laughing with her all evening. Throughout the session, they shared stories about their adventures on the golf course, fishing on the lake, and spending many summer evenings at the lake house. Nothing makes me happier than capturing the love between two people in a place that is so meaningful to them. What a beautiful way to share their love story for years to come.
I typically prompt couples to kiss or cuddle, but these two needed no encouraging. Every time I was setting up my camera for the next shot, I would catch them soaking up the moment like they were the only two people around for miles. I have no doubt that these two are perfect together!
Dan and Cassie, I can't thank you enough for inviting me to this special place. I loved hearing more about your love story, and I cannot wait for your beautiful wedding!
After the session, Cassie sent me this image of the fish she caught that evening. She said I was a good luck charm, but I think she is just an amazing fisher. Next time I'm bringing my fishing pole!
