It's so nice to meet you! I'm a wedding photographer based in Southern California. I have a heart for adventurous couples and I strive to provide honest and timeless images that my clients and their families will cherish for generations. I would be honored to capture your love story.

My husband and I currently reside in the Tehachapi Mountains, with our baby girl. When we are not on an adventure exploring a new city or hiking our favorite trail, we spend our time renovating our home. We also love running, snuggling on the couch, and enjoying simple meals surrounded by good friends.

My fascination with photography began on a study abroad trip to Italy. It was my first ever plane ride, and I instantly fell in love with the food, the people and the culture. I was studying architecture and found that I could see a cathedral in a completely different way based on the way my camera captured lights and shadows, the composition and texture. Each image brought my trip to life, and I still love reliving that experience through my photographs. That passion for travel has only expanded, with recent trips to El Salvador, Austria, Switzerland, Haiti and Iceland. With each new place, my creativity has expanded, and I have a deeper appreciation for the beauty that surrounds me. I’ve had the privilege of traveling for weddings and engagements to Jekyll Island, Jamaica, Mt. Rainier and Colorado. My heart is drawn to couples with adventurous souls, whether that means getting engaged in a European city or enjoying weekends hiking with their dog.

My background in design has informed my approach in framing shots, composing light and capturing spaces. I seek to document weddings authentically, standing back and allowing the day to naturally unfold. I step in and direct poses when needed in order to tell the story of the day beautifully. My hope is that these images are printed, framed and cherished for years to come.

I primarily serve Central and Southern California, however, I am available for travel worldwide.

I initially ventured into wedding photography after planning my own wedding over six years ago. I was immediately smitten with the joy and excitement that surrounds a wedding day, and I strive to be a source of peace and calm for my couples. These monumental celebrations allow me to step in as a creative director when required, but also step back and document the day as it naturally unfolds. I love the raw emotion and genuine elation that accompanies the start of a marriage. After photographing over fifty weddings, I still get choked up during personal vows and the father daughter dance. And I love envisioning my couples and their families cherishing these intimate moments for years to come.

As my couples started getting pregnant and having little ones, I naturally began doing more portrait work. It is truly an honor to capture sweet couples as they first become a family and continue to grow. The relationships I’ve built through weddings, with clients and other vendors, is what I love most about this career. Through phone calls, coffee dates and lots of emails, I always enjoy being involved in the planning process, and it allows me to get to know my clients on a deeper level. I often arrive on the wedding day and am immediately greeted with a huge hug from my bride.

My hope is that I become a trusted friend, so that my clients can feel relaxed and fully enjoy their big day. Knowing the details behind their love story and vision for the wedding are a huge help in documenting the narrative of the day and ensuring that my images are a true reflection of the bride and groom.

For me, wedding days are much more than pretty flowers and the perfect dress. It is about the love story behind the day, and the legacy that the couple will continue to build years down the road. My job is to capture a moment in time when a marriage begins, but my true purpose is to provide memories that my couples and their families can cherish for generations. Because marriage is so much more than one beautiful day. It is full of exciting adventures, dark days, and the everyday moments in between. Even though your wedding feels like the greatest day of your life, I can attest that the best is yet to come. Each day I fall deeper in love with my husband, and I love thinking about how my couples will fondly look back on their wedding day like I do. Wedding vows represent a strong foundation of commitment that only deepens with each passing year, and I am honored to provide authentic images that allow my couples to go back to the moments their marriage first began.
